Annual Book Sale |

On the last weekend in April of each year, Friends of Texarkana Public Library holds its annual Spring Book Sale, which has become a tradition. Hundreds of books donated to Friends throughout the year are sold through our used bookstore to raise funds to help support our public library. The special weekend of the Friends of the Library Spring Sale begins with Preview Night for Friends members only (memberships are for sale at the door); from 5—8 p.m. all store merchandise is one-half price. Friday and Saturday the sale is open to the public, no charge to shop; but the merchandise is back to regular bargain prices. Raffle tickets for selected books may be purchased at the door; the raffle drawing of winning tickets is held Saturday afternoon in the closing hour of the sale with no need to be present to win.
